People Awards
AWCA recognizes individuals whose exemplary contributions have significantly advanced the wall and ceiling industry in Alberta. These awards are presented and celebrated to deserving individuals at an annual awards ceremony in December.
They are called “People Awards” as the awards themselves are named after AWCA members whose impact on the association has been immediate and long serving.
The awards may be presented to individuals outside of the AWCA membership when their contributions have been extraordinary and exceeded the criteria and had a lasting positive impact on the industry.
Nominations are accepted throughout the year with an announced final call to Members for nominations in the beginning of September and the awards are presented at an AWCA Awards cocktail party in December.

Entry Deadline: October 15
The projects will be judged on design, job site innovation and/or conditions, quality of workmanship, use of materials and overall effect.
